The LC100 is Choyong’s third-generation flagship full-band internet radio. It is a complete evolution of the LC90, with major improvements to the hardware, software, RF performance, user interface, wireless connectivity, and audio system. While retaining the features users loved about the LC90—including 4G, eSIM, SIM card slot, TF card support, Bluetooth, and a replaceable 18650 battery—the LC100 introduces a larger high-resolution display, improved FM/AM/shortwave reception, enhanced SSB functions, Wi-Fi 6, a redesigned sound system with bass and treble adjustment, and expanded internet radio and AI features.
The goal of the LC100 is simple: to combine the spirit of traditional radio with the capabilities of a modern internet audio device.
1. Larger 3.5-inch High-Resolution Display
One of the first things many enthusiast have noticed is the new display.
The LC90 uses a 2.4-inch screen, while the LC100 features a 3.5-inch high-resolution display.
The larger screen provides more information displayed at the same time,but a larger display also creates new engineering challenges, especially for AM reception.so during LC100 development, Choyong spent significant effort improving internal shielding and optimizing software algorithms.
Compared with the LC90, the LC100's AM performance has been significantly improved.
But I have to be honest: in extremely weak indoor AM environments, professional receivers may still have advantages.
However, when used outdoors or with an external antenna, the LC100 can achieve excellent medium wave performance and shows a significant improvement compared with LC90.
2. Improved FM / AM / Shortwave Reception
The LC100 continues the full-band design, Support FM、MW、SW、SSB and DAB（Europe version), Compared with the LC90, besides AM improvement, FM and shortwave performance have also been optimized.
3. Advanced SSB Features for Radio Enthusiasts
For shortwave enthusiasts, the LC100 provides a more powerful SSB experience. Added a manual SSB frequency calibration function. This feature is very simple and easy to use, allowing users to quickly adjust and calibrate the SSB frequency.The goal is to provide shortwave enthusiasts with a better listening experience.
4. Wi-Fi 6 Upgrade: Faster and More Stable Internet Radio Experience
Another major improvement is the completely redesigned wireless system. The LC100 uses a new Wi-Fi 6 chip.
Compared with the Wi-Fi solution used in the LC90, This chip has approximately 10 times higher throughput, It Supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi,Supports WPA3 encryption and wake-up from standby states very quickly, so it has a faster network connection.
This upgrade greatly improves internet radio performance and solves many issues caused by weak Wi-Fi environments, such as Buffering and Network errors, The overall internet radio experience is now much faster and more stable.
5. Redesigned Sound System with Bass & Treble Adjustment
The LC100 also brings a major audio upgrade.Compared with the LC90, the LC100 provides approximately 10Hz deeper low-frequency extension, delivering a fuller and richer sound.
Two independent tone adjustment knobs are placed on the left side of the radio, allowing users to easily customize the sound according to personal preference.
But when the volume reaches maximum output, bass and treble adjustment will become limited. This is because the speaker has reached its physical power limit。
6. More Powerful Internet Radio & AI Features
The LC100 keeps all content services available on the LC90:

• Podcasts
• Ai search stations,Podcasts and music through ChatGPT
The new system and improved network performance provide a smoother playback experience.
The LC100 also adds a new AI assistant function.
By long pressing the Ai button next to the OK button, users can access ChatGPT for text-based conversations and questions.
Currently, this function is text-based because voice generation is too slow. Choyong believe text interaction provides a faster and more practical experience.
7. More Improvements
